I've got a new muse in the family! This sweet little guy is my newest nephew Hudson! Also known around my house as Huddy Bear, Huddy Buddy, Huddle House, and once as Herbert (no reason for that last one ;)...
Yeah, he's not really diggin' the elfin acorn hat here. If you look at it in the right way, it's like a baby beard!
Huddy and his 9 days of alertness tolerated the basic beige a little more...
The word at Huddy's house is that this guy is a little monkey, so break out big brother's oversized monkey hat that looks like an adult would get lost in...
Dueling diapers- amazing the difference in one year of age! Gotta love the look of bewilderment on big brother's face...
And now for his dad's favorite outfit- his little ballerina! OK, maybe not the most masculine of choices, but he's so precious anyways, even with the tutu-esque look...
Here's an oversized cap that mom and dad agreed looked cute. It doesn't hurt that by this point Huddy was out cold in the super warm and fuzzy baby nest I built for him.
Basking in the baby nest, sans cap...
The aerial view...
After a lot of time hanging with Huddy, I realized we needed to grab a few pics of his big bro who just turned 1 year old a few days after baby brother's arrival.
Check out his pictures and notice the family resemblance!
Big brother Walker's newborn pictures here ...
And here he is today... We spent literally 5 minutes outside and most of the time swatting mosquitoes, but still managed to get some cute ones for his 1 year- good thing this little guy is so cooperative!
I'm so glad these little cuties are in my life (even if mom (my sis) is having an interesting time to say the least currently with these 'Irish twins'). I know someday they'll be best little buddies, my sweet nephews, Hudson Hawk and Walker Texas Ranger.

One Year in a Blink!
I still am amazed at how much a baby changes in the first year! Newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year:
It was really chilly this morning in April when we met at the park for his 1 year photo session, but Mr. M was a good sport ...
It didn't take too much prodding to get the little guy to play. Love those lashes!
He's not too fast yet, but I got a good workout just the same!
When it warmed up a bit, it was time for a wardrobe change, pics with mom and dad, and a great spring backdrop.
Have a great summer, little guy! I'm sure you'll be a sprinter the next time I see you!

Fiona is 2!
Miss Fiona turned 2 already! You may remember her fabulousness in other blog-starring roles, but in case you've forgotten, here are highlights where she rocked it- newborn, 6 months, 1 year and 18 months!
With a 2 year old, the goal is to keep up with them (and keep them active/having fun!). A typical two year old will not sit still long and pose, so get your running shoes on!
We started off with a little walk on the cold/windy day. She was definitely a trouper and cute in a hooded sweater (though refused an adorable hat, but hey, we learn to go with the flow)!
Can't go wrong with a walk with mom and dad (and parents get to avoid posing too! :)..
What a sweet smile...
A semi-attempt at posing- showing off her boots!
Before long, we had to get inside and warm up- and perform a little...
Mom and daughter- duet!
Encore! (at Fiona's direction)
What else does Fiona love to do (when she's not playing or conducting music?) Puzzles of course!
And games like 'Ring Around the Rosie'...
Two year olds have the right idea when it comes to having fun. Thanks for letting me spend the morning with you having fun myself! :)

Falling into Spring
I can't believe spring is almost here (my second favorite season after fall). Sometime during the craziness of the holidays, getting pictures out to families took priority over blog posts. Now that I'm gearing up for what spring and summer have in store, I wanted to revisit some of the fall fun I had with a few little guys!
I loved the boys' matching outfits and how incredible the color was. Nothing really beats the outdoors for a backdrop, and with active boys, it's just better to have a place for them to run around:
Case in point: How cute is it just to get those moments of them having fun?
Sure, we try to sit them down for a couple seconds, but how long do little ones actually sit still anyways?
As active as they can be- we got the family shots!
Now this little guy visited my backyard for a great backdrop for his 6 month session. Wow, how I miss that color! What a good sport sitting in the wicker chair (good sports for mom and dad too!)...
You really can't go wrong with a Radio Flyer- how fun...
Playing in the leaves is a session requirement... :)
...as is high flying with dad- always a baby pleaser!
Here's to looking forward to warmer weather, lots of outdoor time and my favorite season here once again before I know it!

Sweet Eden (Milton Baby Photography)
Baby Eden was so tiny to me- maybe because I'm used to seeing my nephew who is a bit (ok, a lot) bigger at 4 months. At 9 weeks, she certainly had some good head control already!
I loved how she 'studied' her daddy's face.
The nursery was beautiful- what a great backdrop!
It's almost like she's sleeping on a cloud here (if only for about 2 minutes or so- but we got the angelic pics!).
Big brother is a fun 2 year-old- he sure loves his sister (even if he doesn't like to hold her for too long!).
While Eden was taking a baby break, I got to see how musical the family is- big brother loved to play with Dad...
He showed off his own chops too with a rousing rendition of 'Jingle Bells' ...
After a few outtakes, we got both little ones looking in the same general direction with pleasant faces. Success! :)
Thank you so much to the family for letting me come spend the morning with you!
